Terrific painting Paul, dare I say that you're becoming more accomplished with every piece.

Very good and I don't see your wobbly lines, I just see an excellent painting of some very interesting boats

This is really good Paul.

Many thank everyone for your very generous comments, it’s very encouraging when we get these comments.

Excellent painting, love it.

Good job, Paul - the addition of the pen and ink work makes all the difference - a much stronger painting.

Great painting Dixie. I think your wobbly lines as you call them, are what’s required to add character to the scene in general. Love it!

Great painting...like it a lot!

Lovely Paul. Your boats are excellent as ever

A super painting, Paul with excellent boats and rigging!

Great image, Paul. You can't have too many Thames Barges, they're magnificent.

Great job. Boatiful.

A real beauty Paul. Wonderful detail and I think you got the rigging. The element I like most is the little blue boat in the foreground, perhaps envying the "big boys".

Thank you Sandra, I put the little blue boat in the give some colour to the foreground, works really well.

A great watercolour and ink painting Paul and well done on all that rigging, wobbly lines or not.

Superb painting Paul, great detail.

Thank you Val and Brian for your kind comments.

Lovely composition Paul; I love the details of the buildings and the bridge in the background too. it looks a very peaceful place.

Mae and Karen thank your for your kind comments .

Love this Paul, and painting boats is one of my favourite subjects as well

Thank you Trevor , I appreciate your comment, I like the challenge that boats offer especially when you paint then from the many different angles.

Watercolour painting of an imaginary scene on A3 paper, process of painting this is on the forum . Few bit here and there I’m a bit disappointed with but over all in content , some good lessons from doing this , don’t use the same tape on this paper as it lifts off a top layer when removing it. All wobbly lines are mine and unique, to d honest I’ve stopped trying to get any of the straight with a straight edge, it’s part of my work so I’ve just accepted that.
