Sandra and Carol thank for your comments I appreciate them . Very brave men going to sea often in old overloaded ships filled with explosives etc , you needed to be brave just to go on board.

A4 watercolour of a convoy heading towards Malta . My tribute to the men, women and children who lost their live in every war or conflict no matter what nation. I chose to paint this as it included all three military services and the merchant seamen and the people of Malta who bravely keep going despite the heavy losses. I wanted to keep it to the minimum amount of detail .
