It’s a tad rough

That is so good, Paul. Those waves really are scary! What a superb subject for a watercolour!

Lovely painting Paul and yes the waves are wild. Great job. 👍

Yes a race for home Paul and you have captured this wild and windy moment with a surging sea perfectly.

It sure is rough, how these craft get through these heavy seas amazes me. Fine work, Dixie.

Excellent Paul, a real sense of high seas a choppy water……and a cracking watercolour.

Thank you Davis, Faye, Chris, Lew and Fiona your comments are really appreciated. The look tough things Lew , but the sea is far more powerful, I have seen a couple of ships that were pounded to bit almost by the heavy waves. I certainly would not want to be out there on one.

This is super Paul. A great sense of the elements.

Wonderful painting Paul, it really shows the power of the sea and the ability of these tiny boats and crew managing to handle these storms

Impressive, Paul wonderful depiction of the seas & difficulties around our coasts.

You always come up with interesting boat scenarios Paul, this is another good idea!

Thank you David , David , Willie and Alan for you kind comments. Ad you probably can guess Alan I love maritime paintings, I paint things that intrigue me and also what I think will challenge me the most.

Super watercolour Paul.

Really good Paul, so much energy and movement in that sea

Thank you Denise , Michale and Heather for your kind comments they are appreciated.

Great stormy sea very well painted and I spotted the skipper in his yellow "skins". Very very good.

Love the sense of movement in those waves, Paul. Grand job!

Very realistic Paul… not easy to do such painting in Watercolour ❤️

Thank you Beatrice, I enjoyed painting this due ti the challenges of the sea .

A watercolour painting on 24x32 cm 200gsm paper . A trawler heading for home before the storm worsened . You have to admire the trawler crews going out in all weathers to bring in the catch. I get seasick on the local duck pond.
