Another good one, Paul. There is much interest to see in this painting!

Again, good to have people and birds in this very good painting.

Lovely painting Paul and I can see the little birds

Thank you David, Richard and Faye for your kind comments.

I like this busy painting launching the boat onto that rough sea - good work, Paul!

Nice painting Paul and I like the working figures in the boat.

Thanks Denise your comment is appreciated a lot.

Nice one, lovely water and figures, a sense of movement there.

Where are they off to in that rough sea, a painting that tells a story , nice one Paul.

Lovely Paul, has a real sense of place about it

Thank you Romila, Sylvia and Heather for you comment. The painting is loosely based on a fishing boat being launched off the beach at Filey in Yorkshire . They use Yorkshire Cobles , and need the tractors to push them over the sand to launch and recover. Hard work and in all weathers too.

Thank you for your comment Michale much appreciated. I’m sure it very frightening when it a rough sea, brave men and tough little boats.

A4 watercolour and pen , another in my series of fishing boats and crews. Started it and was not happy with it so added the pen to make it a simple line drawing and wash.
