The boats are fantastic, lovely painting.

A truly delightful watercolour of beached fishing boats that are so characteristic of Hastings.

43x21 cm watercolour of fishing boats on Hastings beach. The beach is pebbles and I though it would be to much doing so many and overwork the painting, used artistic license looks more like sand. I do enjoy painting ships and boats the challenge of getting the shapes is so rewarding. Sorry if offend any one from Hastings but the beach is a mess with fishing old fishing gear , but and absolutely dream for painting . I amazed at how the boats are dragged up above the waterline by old bulldozers etc .
