Ely Cathedral
A4 watercolour on Bockingford rough paper. Inspired from several sources I’m currently reading a book about the history of the Fens by Francis Prior I live in and around the area for ten years when serving in the RAF. I used the shape of the building from online photos and made up some of the foreground. Know as The isle of Ely it does seems to be an island.
