Thanks again for taking the time to look at and comment on my work. There’s one advantage to painting animals. You can’t spend too long and start fiddling!! Thank you Heather. He was sitting on a draining board but is an enormous ball of fur. Thank you Faye. I haven’t drawn or painted him for quite a while. Thank you Chris and Sylvia. It was a fun two hours. He kept remarkably still. Thanks again Richard and Paul. He’s a very handsome cat

Thank you Spencer. In truth, I was lazy with the background 😂 Thank you Fiona. I didn’t feel the passion with this one , despite loving the animal so much. Thank you Sarah. He has a ridiculously pedigree name so we chose something completely down to earth. Thank you Nigel. His main interest is food😂 Thank you Carole. I was being lazy with the background as it was only a wall. He was on the draining board.

His right eye was in shadow so hadn’t got those typical bright cat eyes. Thank you Romila. He sat patiently waiting for his lunch 😂 Thank you Carole. I still struggle with paint strength on first washes and colour mixing. Two areas I need more practice with.
