So fresh and such crisp, spontaneous brushstrokes Diana that make this such an eye catching painting. Watercolour at its best.

Beautifully painted, Diana - love the sky!

Great result. Super sky and reflections.

Lovely work, Diana. The interesting grainy natural palette make it very striking.

This is super, Diana. So very atmospheric and full of drama.

Morning Fiona and thanks again for your interest. So good to see everyone again. Thank you Faye. Those dark clouds and reflections were a joy to paint. Thank you Carole. My tutor is vet skilled in the technique you describe. Beautiful when painted with enough confidence to leave alone after applying. Thank you David. Credit to my tutor for the lovely, dramatic reference image

How lovely to be back in class Diana and a superb result! I think we are waiting for September for ours and goodness knows how life will be by then. It must be lovely to be part of a group again with the chat that goes with it.

Thank you Tessa. Not long till September!! Let’s hope all will continue to improve

Superb Diana, lovely palette and perfectly applied.

Thank you Carole. I forgot to take my pairs so worked on a borrowed, limited palette. Something to learn from that!

Lovely work Diana. Eilean Donan is such a good subject and this reflects it and the surroundings so well. Smashing.

It was a joy to be in an enthusiastic painting environment again.

Thank you Audrey. I was using a very limited palette as forgot to take my paints and used bits from my neighbour. Lesson to be learned there! Thank you Leslie. This really has taught me about the benefit of limiting colour on palette Thank you very much Anne. I am really pleased that the first effort produced something both enjoyable and presentable!

Great watercolour, love your colours and technique.
