I’m very much enjoying your series of sketches Alan. There is so much life and freedom of marks to them .You have reminded me of how important they are before painting a further picture.

I like it, Alan. L-shaped buildings with more bits at right angles and lean-to sheds etc. ...........and silhouetted winter trees against the sky. You use this grey paper so well. It's amazing how much of it can be left untouched, and the whole thing works so well.
