Super sketch Alan.

I’m very much enjoying your series of sketches Alan. There is so much life and freedom of marks to them .You have reminded me of how important they are before painting a further picture.

I love the way you are sketching these Alan.

Another good sketch Alan. Love the 'looseness' of it

Thanks yet again guys for your support! Trevor, I’ve sent you a reply to your question!

Superb Alan - I really like how you paint shadows.

Great use of your pens and pad Alan. You make these fabulous sketches look effortless

Another super sketch, Alan - you have some lovely local scenes.

Very good base for a painting and something we can’t do enough of and something I’m guilty of! Nice work Alan.

I like it, Alan. L-shaped buildings with more bits at right angles and lean-to sheds etc. ...........and silhouetted winter trees against the sky. You use this grey paper so well. It's amazing how much of it can be left untouched, and the whole thing works so well.

More rapid scribbling depicting buildings, which always seem to interest me, the different shapes and so on… and these simple scenes are in abundance. Strathmore toned grey sketchbook with Rotring Ticky 0.2 pen, Tombow pen and grey marker
