A beauty Alan full of exciting marks and movement with great light yes a beauty

I know exactly what you mean Alan - I get the same rush with my abstracts which I don't get with more traditional slow slog work - so exciting and and almost always a great result as you have here - also I find these so much more exciting to look at in the gallery - this is great do post more.

Fantastic Alan!! Exciting and spontaneous, love the wonderful marks and washes. I agree with Michael....more please!

Very stunning sunset and great washes, Alan. Great watercolour!

A lot of dynamics and emotion in this. Great job!

This is a beauty Alan when you paint continually you occasionally hit a cracker and you have here love it Alan .

Fabulous, loose and dramatic sky. Love the calligraphy too!<br />

Nailed it in 5 Alan. superb

The power in this takes my breath away !

5 minutes! Alan, now I&#39;m truly envious! That is one amazing piece, full of impact, as you say, but so well composed and beautifully executed that one would never guess it wasn&#39;t a planned piece. Excellent, excellent work indeed!

Love your colour palette!

Excellent Alan , one can feel your delight through this beautifully expressive sketch

A lot of energy has gone into this Alan...love the limited palette of strong dark colours, and touch of white.

Vibrant with energy and beautifully painted Alan.

11 x 15'' Five-minute plein air watercolour sketch on Ruscombe Mill paper, a view just a minute's walk from my house. These quick style of sketches have always been my favourite, maximum impact with no detail and no hard slog, just pure delight, and of course, the rush of adrenelin you get with rapid watercolour.
