Like this patchwork quilt design of the landscape Alan.

Simple and effective.

Good work Alan. You should enter the Sky Landscape Artist comp if you haven't already!

I like the use of two colours Alan, very effective.

I like the receding tonal values, Alan, and as you say, it makes you think and analyse more. With that in mind your lovely patchwork sketch has great depth. The white cottage sings. Most convincing. Bri

I love The sketchy feel to this Alan.. my kind of colours too 👍🏻

Again a stunning addition to your wonderful series, Alan. Love the colours!

I like the view, the depth and the marks, Alan.

The tinted papers enhance your style and technique beautifully Alan, they compliment one another perfectly.

This is nice

I just looked at this with a question as I do most works on here Alan (indeed everywhere) , do I like it?, because we can't like everything. Easily answered in this case as yes I do. It's very likeable and has a sort of whirlpool effect that pulls me towards the centre. It's good work.

Very effective with such few colours Alan.

Another super piece of work Alan.

A4 acrylic ink on Strathmore 300gsm Tan paper. Just kept this piece down to two low-key colours, mixed by myself, so you can’t buy these (not that you’d want to). It’s good to work to a simple format at times, without colour you are reliant on tonal values of course, which makes you think about it more.
