Excellent rough around the edges Alan , and superb looking tree and a great sketch of it. I do t think it pays to be to gently when painting or drawing tree as they are never nest and tidy , bit like me then.

The bottom part of the tree says Munch’s “The Scream” to me and now I can’t unsee it. Otherwise it would be a brilliant tree!

Lovely interesting old lime tree worked up from a photograph courtesy of Fiona. My usual rapid gung-ho interpretation using a rigger brush, pen, Indian ink and 6B carbon pencil on Strathmore A4 Toned Gray paper. A bit rough around the edges perhaps, but my preferred style of drawing!
