A real beauty, Alan!!

Stunning Alan!

Thanks guys… forgot to mention that I used a touch of white chalk, as you can see - being careful not to get carried away!

Excellent rough around the edges Alan , and superb looking tree and a great sketch of it. I do t think it pays to be to gently when painting or drawing tree as they are never nest and tidy , bit like me then.

Excellent drawing ☺️

Superb sketch of a lovely old tree.

Super drawing Alan and a great touch with the Chalk.

Super work, and an irresistible subject.

Didn't need to look for the artist's name here! It has Bickley stamped all over it. Oh, and in the case of doubt - that's a GOOD thing!

A wonderful drawing!!

Brilliant, Alan.

Such an animated tree, full of character. I bet it has witnessed many things in its life Alan.

Beautiful, powerful drawing Alan.

A real eye catcher, Alan. Super drawing, love it!

How nice is this Alan, good one

Terrific Work!

Like this very much Alan, you give me enough to know the tree, but not so much that I can't let my imagination have a go as well!

Fantastic Al! It’s sickening the way you just run a tree off with such little effort, I’ll put mine in the bin…..😂 Just love your free and easy manner of sketching with ink and placing the highlights in just the right place for the best effect.

Love artwork like this, gorgeous old tree Alan.

Lovely work, Alan!

A beauty of a drawing ✨️

Great subject, great sketch, Alan.

It's a great drawing Alan.

A very splendid tree Alan.

Sketching at its best Alan - really enjoyed seeing this.

Lovely drawing Alan, great tree, great style.

So characterful - lovely sketch!

Good, bold, fresh work Alan.

The bottom part of the tree says Munch’s “The Scream” to me and now I can’t unsee it. Otherwise it would be a brilliant tree!

Lovely interesting old lime tree worked up from a photograph courtesy of Fiona. My usual rapid gung-ho interpretation using a rigger brush, pen, Indian ink and 6B carbon pencil on Strathmore A4 Toned Gray paper. A bit rough around the edges perhaps, but my preferred style of drawing!
