Another super little line and wash sketch Alan. Look forward to seeing how you work in your article (and pick up a tips or two!).

Blimey you're threatening to join us en plein aire near Salisbury Alan - I would be in awe and looking for a masterclass judging by this piece and all yours.

This really is an eye catcher, Alan. Love your colour scheme!

Excellent work, Alan - what impresses me particularly is the sheer amount of colour you've got into this, while using so few pigments: much else to enjoy as well - at first sight you think it's a carefully controlled, precise drawing: then you take a second and third look, and there's such freedom of movement. It's thought-out and planned, but it's anything but academic and stiff. This would look superb in a frame - on my wall, for preference!

Thanks to you all, some smashing comments indeed for such a small insignificant little sketch and Robert, you are very welcome to it, a good home is better than in my folder, let me have your details via PM.

I shall look forward to that. This is exceptional already.

Beautiful work Alan, I love the detail in your work.

Super work, Alan.

I look forward to that Alan, this is beautiful.

Look forward to the demo Alan, this is a real cracker. Beautifully understated but packed with information.
