This one has got the lot - colour, design, atmosphere (not a place I'd want to linger after dark); it'll be interesting to see where you go with these.

Architecturally, Norman churches are my favourite to look at. Perseverance as you know Alan, is the key to attaining your goals. You are certainly off to a great start.

This is unusual for you Alan but somehow the colours seem to work, it gives a feeling of atmosphere and would love to see you having another go, I’m intrigued in a good way! 👍

It sounds by your comment that your prefer less work than in this example, and I would agree with you on this occasion Al. I like your less solid pieces, more of the structure of pen work on show, but it’s still a super painting. Great fun experimenting though!
