Ingestre Hall, Jacobean Mansion House.
Again, within ten minutes driving is this architectural Jacobean hall, a splendid piece to draw and one that I have revisited numerous times. Just a quick 30 minute sketch on this ocassion which was done yesterday so hot of the press as they say. There is also a block of really interesting stables and an orangery which I managed to capture also, again just as a quickie. Possibly to do this great historic building credit it would be a good studio project and perhaps work from photographs to get some degree of accuracy, believe me it is very complicated and this is just one of the elevations, hope you like it, usual MO as the church series of which I still have more completed.
