Lovely strictures of light upon the walls and angles of the roof-tops. The tinge of blue exposes the walls which compliment the angular orange roofs.

Yes I can see the difference and it appears sharper to me and I like the shadows on the buildings and the greens over the cliffs. It’s superb Alan with lovely painterly rhythms.

Hang on Studio Wall

Similar vantage point to last weeks posting, overlooking the rooftops and harbour, but to the left, and I’ve honed in slightly and left out a few rooftops and the foreground grasses. Worked up again from my plein air sketch book drawnings/paintings many years ago. Not quite finished, when it’s dry I’m going to glaze over some areas.. Oil on board 40 x 50cm.
