Thank you all yet again for some lovely encouraging comments, I do appreciate the time taken. Carole, That was dropped in using Aquarelle Museum water soluble pencils, the blue is 3510-670, the orange 3510-850. You may be able to buy them as singles online.

One of two lodges, both identical and opposite each other stand at the entrance to Sandon Hall, ancestral home to the Earls of Harrowby. Painted in bright sunshine on Tuesday, let's hope this mild spell continues for a while so that I can get out and about with my paints. Usual MO, ink and watercolour on Fabriano 300lb HP, 10 x 12in.
