The comforts of what we are familiar with, in a sensitive yet spontaneous style.

very fresh & pretty, I like those red touches throughout & the biscuit tin & the delicacy of the orchid (they are actually tough as old boots, somebody gave me one & I have a very bad record with pot plants but it lasted, and flowered, for months)

We can tell that you enjoyed painting this still life Thea. Agree with all the above but I particularly like the lemon!! Lovely shadows.

I left a comment this morning, but since I do not see it here, I do it again : Congratulations, Thea, this is a beautiful still life. I like the orchid (my favourite flower!), perfect.

Beautiful painting Thea. Your works just gets better and better. Love it.

great painting thea

Where does the yacht come in does it belong to one of the grandsons? A very clear still life.

Thank you very much to everyone who have kind comments - it is much appreciated. I rather like just sticking a whole lot of unrelated object together as a still life, so I just grabbed the boat and in it went!

Hello Thea, thank you very much for your comment on my watercolor. Yes. like you, I love color, which is why I have so enjoyed your gallery. Everyone of your paintings lifts me up and makes me smile!

Thea, I just love your gallery. It's full of such fresh and vibrant watercolours. I just wish that I could use watercolour half as good as you. It has been a pleasure to browse through it.
