Just gorgeous as usual Thea.

A pearl and such natural work

Splendid self-portrait, Thea (snigger; chortle....). No no. Instantly recognizable, and a girl after my own liver.

Thank you Kal, Dennis and Robert - very kind of you all. Robert, my husband would be well pleased if this was a self-portrait of me as he thinks JL is the sexiest woman on the planet (well... after me, of course!).

Absolutely Fabulous Thea! You've really captured Patsy's (aka JL) half-cut haughty look.

It's that Street -Porter woman yes? Smashing sketch anyway Thea

You've captured that disdainful look she has. Ab fab!

You have caught her so well, FABULOUS!

Thank you very much Christine, Derek, Louise and Fred for your lovely comments. Patsy was fun, wasn't she? I always remember her and Edina falling out of a taxi blind drunk on Bolly - so funny. Derek, the teeth are very Janet S-P, but I think Patsy is a bit more glam. I don't see Janet S-P as a style icon, lol!

Ab Fab sweetie !!

Absolutely fabulous Thea!! I like JL a lot and would love to see repeats of the series. I'm so glad that you can do these fun portraits, they are so good and cheer us up no end.

Yes you've nailed it there Thea, wonderful work. I did love that series.

I know it's been said Thea....but, absolutely fabulous!!

Well done Thea, you've really got the essence of Patsy here. Too young for her years with just a hint of a bit of a sag here and there - and you have achieved it with just a couple of well-placed lines. I think its great.

Of course, we are all going to say this is absolutely fabulous, but it is - really!

Hi Thea this is great , she is a great beauty and you have caught her just right . Its strange but often a quick sketch seems to catch a freshness and immediacy that a more finished painting often lacks ,this however is lovely and fresh excellent Thea well done.

Thank you very mch Debs, Satu, Derek, sharon, Frank, Dennis and Fiona for such encouragement. In a funny way, these portraits are getting harder to do and I think that is because I am trying a bit too hard now as I want them to be a reasonable likeness. In the beginning, I didn't care too much about that and I think I put myself under less pressure. Time to change subject for a bit I think as it doesn't pay to bang away at the same thing for too long.

Knew who this was straight away

Thank you very much Gudrun and David - it's always nice when people spot who the subject is - a bonus in fact, especially with these ones as they are more caricatures than portraits, so I really appreciate your comments.

This one is done postcard size, but that is mainly because I tried to do a normal sized portrait and I didn't like it so I tore off a corner of the paper and tried again to see if I could improve on it. Wouldn't you just know it - I much preferred the quick 5 min sketch on a scrappy piece of paper! Anyway,it's just a bit of fun. Still can't get down to any more serious work and these one liners are helping to keep me going.
