This is the second commission for the same Maltese family that requested the dog...must have got the dog right, lol! I don't really do people portraits, though I had such joy painting this that i won't be in quite such a tizzy if I'm asked to do others. Obviously I'd rather paint from life, but this photo was quite good to use.
