Oh dear Tessa is it a tad wet in the Cotswolds then , it’s B raining here as well. I do like all the marks and colours of this lovely painting.

Glad it’s not just us then Dixie! Thank you.

Your cheesed off produces some good work!

I definitely agree with the title! Your choice of colours and mark making are so apt.

Love all those luscious markings Tessa. A great portrayal of the wet stuff.

Good abstract. Wet here in Norfolk too Tessa, I suspect a lot of painting has been done today.

Looks like the view out of my window today as well Tessa. DREICH!!

Splendid work! I like it a lot Tessa.

Thank you so much Heather, Spencer, Carole, Lyn, Fiona and Diane. I think you’ve cheered me up, though it is still chucking it down here! 🤣

I like it Tessa. Reminds me of Jackson Pollock though I know it’s not dribbled paint

Thank you Martin and no definitely no dribbling, more slashing involved! Thankfully no rain here today-so far!

Love the textures and liveliness of the brushwork. Beautifully done, Tessa.

I agree with Paul - the energy and colour in this are really lively.

Many thanks Seok and Bobbie, much appreciated!

Yes - your art expressed the weather feeling very well! It works for me 😉

Thanks Art! 😂

Thank you lynne for your thoughtful response. We are having a heatwave now so all seems very different to when I painted this!

But I suppose we need it! Cheesed off with the weather I did this 10”x8” oil mostly with knife, no photo involved, just from imagination. Took about an hour. Colours used titanium white and unbleached t white, permanent rose, ultramarine and cad yellow.
