12x10” oil on board started plein air about a week ago, then completed at home. I’ve tried to use a more abstract style on this concentrating on shapes rather than detail. Some of the fields in this area had no real boundaries and have recently had earth banks built up which I guess will green up in time. This is what I’ve painted here and the road around has been altered to hopefully aid the composition.
