A beautiful and peaceful painting -- I love the effect of light through the autumnal leaves and the spattered paint on the bushes in the middle distance

This is a different view of a favourite place of ours in the New Forest, I think it runs into the Beaulieu River downstream. The original image was sourced from the internet, as we find it difficult to travel far these days. I found myself going there in my mind's eye as I painted the scene...all the sights and smells of the Forest come back! What a privilege to have been there.
