This is super! The bird is vibrant with life, and the foliage just sets it off a treat!

Beautiful!

Really good exploratory painting - stands alone in its own right

Excellent Bob, very natural setting.

I like this, the downward viewpoint makes a welcome change. Fine work, Bob.

Lovely painting Bob -- I especially like the composition with the ripples and reeds leading the eye around the picture and balancing the moorhen, with the scarlet on its beak complementing the greens.

Lovely painting, certainly stands alone, be interested to see the ‘proper’ one!

It’s looking good, Bob

Thank you all for your encouraging remarks. ....now on to the full watercolour!!??

Great ripples, colours and movement Bob.

Great Painting Bob... I just finished a painting about Narnia, which I posted today... I am also working on two more... I hope you like them.
