Richard Thorn did such a lovely painting of Old Harry at Studland, that I was inspired to paint the view, not of Old Harry, but The Pinnacles, just round the corner from there that can be seen from Ballard Down. I used a number of photos from the net as my reference, as I myself have only been as far as Old Harry rocks. The painting went to a dear friend of my wife.
