Like the way you've painted the bluebells a lot

Lovely, the colours work really well.

I think this works well despite the problems created by stale paper.

My shot at Paul Talbot-Greaves Challenge in the May issue of The Artist Magazine. I stuck mostly to his suggested palette of colours, and used the Saunders paper. However, it was the last sheet of a gummed block of paper and very old. The size had all but worn off, so it acted more like blotting paper than watercolour paper, and soaked up the washes on application ( impossible to do any lifting of colour once it was applied). However I got round it by being careful, and using white gouache mixed in with the watercolour where I wanted to make any alterations.
