A lovely image with great use of light and shadow.

I know this place well. Just around the corner is Holdenhurst church which is a lovely subject for watercolour. I think you have captured the light really well.

Love this painting, bright and contrasty.

Thank you for your kind comments folks, I’m grateful to you...Bob.

This is really good, light and shade has been very well rendered

Lovely range of greens and tonal contrasts, Bob.

I really like this, Bob, as you have captured the light beautifully in rich, glowing colours by making the sunlit long grass your focal point in an unusual and original composition.
