"Country Lane" 15" x 10.5" (Watercolour on Arches 140lb Rough)
After quite a while away from painting due to family illness, I've managed to get back into doing some more. With the return of some lovely spring sunshine, I wanted to do a sunny scene on a block of Arches paper that I got as a birthday present. Nothing remarkable about the colours, just my normal blues, earth colours, W&N lemon yellow, Cad Yellow pale, Naples yellow, permanent Rose, and a little Cobalt Violet. Hookers green, always mixed with burnt umber, or other colours such as a yellow, a blue, or an ochre, to achieve a realistic green. Hope you like the final outcome.
