Lovely (and your explanation made me smile too!)

Very nice Robert , adds the air of mystery when you can’t see the building completely.

Nicely painted Robert.

Nice work Robert.👍

Known as a floating frame! I’ve got the same one from ACF canvases. I’ll have a go at it soon, a bit small for my style though! Anyway, you’ve managed to create something original, interesting vantage point and a super palette.

I admire the aspect from which this has been painted Robert. Impressive.

I like the house on the hill !!

Beautiful colours 😍

Thanks for your comments: I would say this, wouldn't I?, but it looks a lot better in the flesh than my photograph conveys: I've had Microsoft problems with photos: they keep hiding them from me and I do get so cross! Hee hee - I do, though: so I just take the best photo I can find amongst the dross and use that. Looks good in its oak frame on my wall, I'm going to keep it as it is. Colours were white - scarlet lake - cobalt teal - pthalo blue - Mars Orange - a touch of Lemon Yellow, and a green: I think the green was Rublev's Nicosia Green Earth; though it could as easily have been Viridian. I wish I could give you a better photo, it's so frustrating.

Like the air of mystery.

Very pleasing painting Robert.

Has great charm Robert helped by the moody colours and your imagination

I really love this. I like your style and colours

Oil on ACF canvas, with its built in oak-frame. This is a very free adaptation of an actual farm house: it had to be, I couldn't see it properly!
