Lovely soft shades and a fabulous tree!

I admire the mistiness that envelops the image, Robert.

A lovely painting Robert , how many gallons of paint have you used since this one was painted .

Good then, good now!

An interesting oldie! Subtle tones and would benefit visually from being cropped! Nitpicking perhaps, but presentation is important as well you know!

I like your style Robert.

Like the gnarled texture of the trees and shrubs. Good tonal values throughout the painting.

Yeah, caught my eye too. Nice work

Well worth showing Robert.

I do like this, and especially what my imagination makes of the tree - to me it is striding down the hill (that forward facing root) with arms extended.

A super painting - a fine tree and lovely misty palette!

Very good work Robert, the writhing tree branches are well described. From the title I thought it might have some spiritual theme, with the branches reaching up to heaven!

I could have sworn I'd shown this before, but it seems not. One of my earliest paintings that I still have, inspired by Martin Shaw showing one of his golden oldies. Acrylic, around 16" by 14". Improved with one touch of the brush by the Isle of Wight artist Anne Toms - how old I'm not sure, but ca. 1980, perhaps earlier.
