I like the sky, it captures a fleeting moment very well.

Looks like a nice little house up there all cosy 🥰

Looks like a pixie house to me!

It might be a summer house; it might be a farm building: I've only seen it from down below. I didn't really care what it was until you lot got curious! You've got me interested now.

House on a hill, I like it.

I like it Robert...and I've learnt a new word! 😊

I admire anyone who can paint landscapes, I like looking at them. The imagination can read into it what ever you think it is.

You're right, I don't bother what that building is, but I'm appreciate the whole art being nicely done.

My eye is drawn to the building so naturally I’m curious. It adds narrative to the work

Whatever the house is you have painted it well Robert.

Revetment. I had to look it up. Its a retaining wall supporting something like a rampart. Can be sandbags, earth whatever. I think its been captured rather nicely.

I like this painting and the small building has me intrigued too. Makes a good focal point.

Small watercolour, 12 x 17cm, on Hahnemühle Torchon paper. I don't know what that building is - I just sees it and paints it..... Hate this weather, because I have to scan pictures - the sort of day you might call wet-in-wet, and impossible to take a photograph outside, and my flat is too dark. So, scan it is: not perfect, but more or less there. Based on, not fanatically faithful to, the revetment at Ventnor on the Isle of Wight.
