I did comment on this on the forum I believe! Accuracy is never or rarely an issue in my work as you know, more my own interpretation - far more important...

I like the way you have kept the focus on the trunk rather than take in the whole tree.

It is great to see you posting again, Robert. I love drawings or painting of lone trees and you did an excellent job on this one. Very impressive!

A good variety of colour in this piece Robert.

Beautiful texture to the bark Robert, and the contrast of light and shade gives it such depth!

Love the textures of the trunk and the contrasting gentleness of the background Robert.

Super job on that bark, Robert. I can sense the feel of it.

Same tree as the oil, but this is acrylic, 20" by 8", and accuracy wasn't my concern in this one. Stretched canvas.
