Great depth and texture

I like this composition Robert, and calming effect when I'm looking at it... Nice colours and feel of depth.

I think the photo is not good but good result. Thank you for informing about the colours.

Very nice indeed Robert

This has a lovely look to it Robert, especially your darker tones are very good. It would certainly benefit from a clearer photo.

As you rightly say Robert, this photo is dreadful…did I read that you had bought a new camera? I remember giving you some possibilities a while back - Interesting colours although I don’t quite understand why three different lead whites… that’s puzzled me! Incidentally, I would love to try stack lead white.

My favourite kind if environment Robert and yiu have made good work of it. May I request you write a post on the forum about all those whites and their properties? Thank you!

You, I mean!

Great scene Robert, lovely texture. I agree with Sarah, a post on whites would be good. Terre Verte, a lovely colour.

I'll add to this on the forum; Alan B doesn't mince words, and he's right, the photo is dreadful.... I'll address that issue, too! Under Oils, I think.

Very neat little painting (I assume it's small). The pastel/earthy tones harmonise very well.

Really like the Cerulean blue in the sky, it lifts the whole painting, and contrasts nicely with the ochres in the foreground.
