I thought this was a photo at first, it is so realistic. So much skill and patience and the result is a beautiful, sensitive painting!

Thank you Jackie, yes these do take a while to complete, very often around 20-30 hours but very enjoyable. I am in the middle of creating a DVD showing my full techniques with painting a mouse/fur, hopefully out later this year. :-)

Another Harvest Mouse completed, I love these little critters! Obviously watercolour, A4ish on Bockingford 140lb paper which I find works brilliantly for the backgrounds! Hundreds and hundreds of brush stokes with this one and about a day and a half time wise. Brushes are sable and synthetic 00, 5, 8 and a mop brush.
