How on earth did you manage to do this beautifully detailed painting whilst manning a stall with, no doubt, numerous interruptions. Fantastic, especially those eyes.

Thank you Val, I fortunately had my partner helping at the stall with me, but yes I did stop and start many, many times so I couldn't really get into the painting. I did only paint just to create some interest on the stall, so I don't expect my 3 or 4 hour complete switch off to the normal world whilst painting. :-)

I want one!! He's gorgeous and so well painted despite all the interuptions Paul.

He, he, thank you Fiona, I bet they give a nasty nip though!

Wow, cracking detail, that fur looks so good

Amazing! Did you use white gouache for the hair?

Thank you Aaron. :-) Hi Vivian, I prefer to use white acrylic for the highlights, this way I am able to lay a watercolour wash over the top. If I'd used gouache the gouache would muddy when I lay another colour over the top. :-)

My latest painting of a meerkat completed whilst manning my art stall last weekend. This is A5 in size using Langdon smooth watercolour paper. :-) Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. http://www.devonartist.co.uk/
