Absolutely brilliant, the rose and rose but are great, the glass vase is simple stunning, a great painting Denise.

I have never tried oil paint Denise but this looks really good to me!

This is really nice, Denise. As a newcomer I'm really encouraged that someone with only few months experience can produce something like this. I particularly like how you've so consistently suggested where the light is coming from. I would not be ashamed to have something of this quality on my wall. Well done.

I know you are just beginning, I read your post, this is an oil but when I started with acrylic, I was painting for two weeks with acrylic before I discovered I needed to gesso the canvas.
