Thanks for your comments David, Chris and Anne, it is unfinished as the light went for me to get the sharp detail in and all my sharpeners and I have many, the blades are all blunt and I don't know when I'll find time to get some new at the moment.

I like this a lot Denise, but you can always use a Stanley knife to sharpen your charcoal or sandpaper.

I'm in the middle of rearranging my house, so I'm not getting much time to paint but I'm trying to keep up with a bit of practice with sketching when I get time. It is so annoying not finding time but I'm having a big overhaul at the moment.
