I like your 'minimalist' approach to this painting Michael, there is nothing to detract from the main feature.....the ruin. I even like the difused foliage and clouds.

It may be a bit of fun, Michael, but it has great atmosphere, and you've captured all the essential details. It's a lovely painting indeed. Please keep them coming!

I agree with Fiona and Seok, Michael - this is so fresh and crisp, and the cloud effects are great. The subject matter gives real food for thought...I wonder what is the story behind these old buildings.

Really good painting - loose, with emphasis where it needs it and it tells a story.

Desirable residence in need of some renovation ..... Works very well as an ensemble - the liquid sky setting off the crisply painted buildings/ruins.
