Excellent - worth the soggy tootsies.

I think the trees in the mid-distance set this one off nicely Michael. I've driven past this church many times and often thought "must take a photo of that for a painting later"!

A delightful painting of a lovely looking place Michael! The colour of the church tower is wonderful, the background trees are superb and the two people in their red jackets create a good focal point.

Thanks to you all. Would you believe the two people in red were in my photo at exactly the right spot. there are two others in front of the dark central tree but I decided not to accentuate them or it would detract from the other two. This is off to the gallery tomorrow and before framing it I lengthened the legs a tad = Actually they appeared a bit short in the photo as the feet were buried in the grass.

Beautiful sky in this one Michael and good clean colour.

Love that sky and the soft mellow tones of the church and scenery. The touch of red makes the painting. It's lovely!
