Lovely lively and great colour Michael

Nice painting Michael nice atmosphere . I like your comment on my dust men , you should have just said rubbish lol

Like the addition of people in this one, good lively scene!

The figures make this lovely street scene Michael, it would be dead without them.

Great colours and a lovely sense of place. You paint all the stuff I shy away from . Sorry cannot find any thing to critisise ....sod it .

Thanks all - just sorry I couldn't get the photo right but it's not too far from the original - might try more of these sort of scenes.

A tricky one to tackle Michael, lots of architecture and figures, not for the faint hearted, but I can see some very clean washes applied here from that muddy water you use! (that is a compliment of course).
That tree could probably stand a darker tone, more so at the base but I like it...
Love the bright, sunny atmosphere of this one, Michael.

It's a cracker Michael.

The more you look the more you see with this, and like, I have to say. I love the subtle washes to describe the play of light and shade by the seat and towards the right hand trees. Would love to see you attempt the Cherry Tree.

You're all too kind . Alan: fully agree although in the original the trees are darker in tone than is depicted in the photo. Philip - are you local? Anyway I will give the Cherry Tree a go sometime in the next couple of weeks

Well I like it a lot.

Some lovely sharp contrast here Michael and as always, your perfectly clean washes.

No Michael, but an infrequent visitor to The CT when visiting my wife's parents in Little Bowden.

Lovely, bright, clean washes here Michael, makes for a sunny scene.

Wonderfully lively and I like your bold colours as they add life and light.

I tried adjusting the image but couldn't get the trees on the right to reflect the darker tones in the original - otherwise it's fairly true. Not one of my favourites but I did enjoy painting a scene that's a bit more busy than my usual choice of subject.
