Of the three, this is the one that I prefer..it's the restricted palette and loose brushwork that does it. Great atmosphere but I wouldn't fiddle with foreground unless you slightly mute the diagonals touching bottom..working with oils gives you plenty of options....worth experimenting..Hello Marjorie..thank you for your last comment..always valued!

Oil on canvas. The view from the back of my house towards the castle, just as the Winter sun catches the rooftops. Photo not good and may add more paint to the lower part but will wait and see.
