I'm so envious of this lovely garden, living in an apartment I have to make do with my balcony pots and communal grounds, easier but not quite the same! A lovely painting Marjorie.

Thank you Carole, Dennis, Beatrice, Val, Christine and Debs. I love that wall too. It's an old Victorian wall and is perfect because it's imperfect - bricks missing here and there etc. It runs down one side of our long garden, I've always wanted to paint it because the colours of the bricks are beautiful. Next task is to home in on one part of it.

Love the contrast of the strong light against the muted surroundings. It creates a lovely tension to move the viewer's eye around. Well done, Marjorie!

This has a beautiful ambiance to it - super light and I like the 'smudged' and chalky feel to the painting - it makes a very attractive piece of work.
