Oh wow Marjorie this is superb, it is beautifully painted. The vase looks do good and the colour is excellent, the pomegranates look so beautiful and ready to eat . A lovely painting beautifully painted.

Thanks Paul. Funny thing happened.. the poms were the attraction to paint this but the vase took over, it’s a favourite of mine.

Just grand. In fact the pomegranates are painted so well, I'm reminded that I don't like them. Great visually, bags of folklore attached to them, but taste 'orrible. (Just me, I suppose).

So rich and beautiful Marjorie the velvety material is lovely also juicy pomegranates. Gorgeous vase too!

To me there’s something exotic about pomegranates - they go with things like Turkish Delight ( whoahh! ) or silks from the Kasbah. Lewis hates them…I just remember, as a kid, they were special, they certainly kept you busy trying to eat them. Perhaps that was the idea😁 Thanks everyone for taking a look and commenting.

Marjorie, you know what, I’m lost for words! This is just so breathtakingly beautiful, you take still life painting to another level. It’s difficult to chose one particular thing that stands out, if I had to choose, it would be the cloth/scarf. I’m sure I will be back for another look, or three!
