Very entertaining and superbly composed.

It's a great story line Lewis, I'm really enjoying following it.

Well done for all the paintings within paintings, great skill Lewis.

Thank you Stephen, Denise and Katy. The 'paintings within paintings' are a bit of an effort, Katy. Mimi's miniature paintings are the easiest, they are all my old paintings scaled down in photoshop...which is simple to do. To some extent I can do the same for Fred, but I do need a few new ones pertinent to the story. Emil and Cleo's have to be new, but as they'll be so small I don't 'finish' them as I normally would.

Once more a brilliant storyline and superb artwork. There is always so much to see in each picture frame Lew, you must spend ages on some of them.

Everyone else has said it - these are worthy of a published book - go for it!

So entertaining and skilful, Lewis!

Not just a story line but some great artwork in the background. I really like the second painting from the right, in panel one. Genius.

It's amazing how quickly you work Lew. A man with a mission.

Your commitment and imagination are truly commendable Lewis. Thank you for continuing to entertain us so brilliantly.

Amazing drawings and especially all the artwork on the walls of the gallery!

You're amazing Lew (and a very fast worker)

Thank you very much for your generous comments. It is going quickly at the moment, but it's compiled in photoshop and my methodology is evolving as I work on it. I don't like doing complex backgrounds where the speech bubbles will cover most of it...so I've done larger empty backgrounds and use the same one in different positions (by moving it around). The figures are drawn with no background and stuck on top of the 'empty' background. All these are drawn quickly because I'll be reducing everything in size, and that hides most deficiencies...so I'm using layers...a drawing of a figure on a seperate background. Clear as mud I expect, but anyone who uses Photoshop will know exactly what I mean. So it's quick because I've found a more efficient way of working.

Great storyline and the art work is, as always, superb, Lewis!

You are very talented Lewis. These strips and your portraits are so very well done.

Humour, great artistic talent and technical wizardry too Lewis, what can't you do?

You really have such patience to paint all the little pictures in the background, each one deserves credit on their own, fabulous work Lewis.

Brilliantly done Lew, especially the tiny paintings as already stated.

Always great art and storylines.

Excellent Lewis!

Would have loved to attend this exhibition Lew

Here we go again !!!!

Been catching up with your super story and brilliant illustrations. Such a good read. Thoroughly enjoying it Lewis!

It continues. The size of their studio, which is to be used for their exhibition, begins to worry the artists.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
