Look at their faces and postures, aren't they wonderful? Ha ha ha ha, Lewis, I love it.

Great characters ... I think (sadly) this might resonate with a lot of women!

Superb characters Lew , you must have modelled the man on my neighbour, looks similar and definitely his attitude. When she went into hospital fir a few day she bought ready meals and had to demonstrate how the microwave works, also ensuring that he had enough t bags etc.

Oh yes, see this often! Wonderfully portrayed 😁

Forever topical Lew. I soon had cooking off to an art when my wife was in dock. Lesson One, Open box... I stood staring in front of a drinks section in the supermarket till an assistant told me "concentrate" meant strong. Thank you Lord for crisps and biscuits... Brilliantly done as ever Lew..(-:

Gave me a hearty chuckle Lewis. I do the shopping and cooking! The wife does the clearing up.!!!

Great characters and great fun!

Smashing Lew! For one second I thought she had a fag in her mouth. 🤣

I love his tree trunk of a face, especially as I have just seen a screaming face in Alan’s tree! It would be really funny if it were not so true in many cases. Well noted though!

And they call them the good old days! Another good one, thank you Lew.

One friend stacked up with cornflakes when his wife was away😆

Probably true of some blokes. Thanks for your comments.

Excellent Lewis. I suspect it’s a dying breed though

Never take the wife for granted, well done Lew 😄

Wonderful Lewis, I love the nose !!

Absolutely brilliant Lewis, I agree is so often the case

Ah ever the hapless male( although not in every case) -well captured Lewis.

Great stuff Lewis.

So typical Lewis. I blame mothers for not teaching their sons self sufficiency. Such astutely observed characters.

Spot On! What else can he want?! She already broke a leg for him!

Thanks for the chuckle Lewis, if he were mine that themometer would end up where the sun don't shine :)

Love it! Great setting and characterisation. Good one Lewis!

Always a treat! As good as ever, Lewis!

Really humorous, love this!

Brilliant!

Rings so true, marvellous piece of work.

Heard this on a sit-com years ago, seen it elsewhere many times. Thought I'd have a bash. Not guilty m'lud, I'm head cook and bottle-washer in our house...and we're down to our last tin of beans.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
