Great as always Lew, laugh of the morning.

At Waterloo Railway Station I heard a man ask staff 'what time does the 4.30pm train leave for Portsmouth.' She looked dumbstruck, but answered politely. Perhaps he meant to ask if it was on time. But it sounded daft. I read/heard the other one...what amused me about it was the idea of a man asking such a question of his wife. Asking for trouble/irony/ or a straight putdown.

I've got an old French postcard of a railway station....'We're expecting the seven o'clock train at about eight but if it's really late they'll let us know'. Keep them coming Lew!

Brilliant 🤣🤣🤣

Great observation Lew and first class artwork.

Excellent Lew ,the best way to start a new month 😃

Wonderful Lewis.

A new month, a couple of new delights. Start the month with a smile thanks to Lew.

Reminds me of a day trip by ferry to Ireland many years ago, when a bunch of us were waiting for a bus to the nearest town. Someone asked if there would be room on the bus for all of us, and the answer was -‘well there was plenty of room on it yesterday’. You are so good at these chucklers Lew, always make me smile!

Thanks to everybody for your comments. Always appreciated.
