Fab. Happy New Year 🎉 My experience of a New Year's day in Scotland was going home in the car. Walking along a hedge next to the road was a chap, slightly unsteady until he fell into a hedge. A minute or two later he re-appeared, minus his trousers. He carried on ....

A bit of nonsense. Health and happiness to everyone at POL for the New Year. (For me, I'm hoping that old Catalan phrase 'let no new thing arise' will apply. I first read it in Patrick O'Brian's seafaring novels.)
