You girls make such a fuss.

That rings a bell! I have had to confront killer spiders on many occasions. Great drawing and humour.

If it has a red line on its back - run. Nice one Lewis.

This has made me laugh so much because this is how I really see spiders. Great drawing.

Excellent. Just the right thing to start the day with!

Brilliant, Lewis, that’s one scary spider!

You have drawn my worst nightmare Lewis. This is both funny but disturbing. Very scary

So funny because it has the ring of truth in it , often heard in my house. Excellent pen work Lew.

Thank you for your comments, very much appreciated. A common event in most households. My wife isn't too fussed by spiders, but draws the line at picking them up. She doesn't want them harmed, so I get volunteered. Thus far I haven't been devoured, but mostly they are a tad smaller than the one I've drawn.

Can’t understand all the fuss people make about spiders but of course this one is terrifying. Superb imagination and drawing skills Lewis.

Oh my, that's a horror and my worst fear brought to life!

Glad we don’t have spiders like this Lewis!

Brilliant Lewis.....I don’t mind spiders, although I wouldn’t want to share the same room as your example.

and, I should have added, brilliant! (wish you could edit/and or delete these comment boxes when you "add comment" too soon!!!

Definitely scary - brilliant drawing, Lewis!

Wouldn't have to be this big to make me run Lew, I'd have been out of there if it had been a money spider

wonderful depiction of the spider. yes all too familiar

Hilarious! But why are we brought up to be scared of spiders?

Thanks again to all for your wonderful response to this image.

Love the red around the mouth !! I use our toothbrush holder and try to get the spider in it and flush down the toilet ! Good stuff Lewis.

Wonderful spider. This is one of your best Lewis, great humour.

Don't mind spiders except when they are on the ceiling above bed before lights out. Have this strange idea that if I go to sleep on my back with mouth open I will regret it!!

hahahah!

I’m the one who gets the spiders! love the painting, Lewis

Oh my goodness! Glad the ones I tackle are significantly smaller Lewis, great fun.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
