This is great, Lewis.

Love this one, Lewis.

Oh, I love the thinking ... and the art!

Nice drawn Lew, a lot of thought goes into your work, and has the effect of making others think.

Interesting concept & splendidly drawn.

Haha, don’t go changing the course of history Lewis!

Thanks folks for your kind comments.

Really good Lewis, i really admire how you draw and paint.

What a very original idea, Lewis. I love and admire your 'blue' work very much!

Super work Lewis. What will you get up to next?!

Magical Lew, just magical..

You have great talent Lewis, I really enjoy looking at your work.

Thanks again to everybody for your very generous comments.

Actually that's a bloody good drawing of the mona lisa Lewis. And a fine representation of the picasso style. I knew you were good but this really confirms it.

Well Lewis, I prefer it in the Picasso style, good job of both by the way.....like it!

Thoughtful - in your distinctive style.

Such great drawings of both - what talent!

What a great idea Lewis and superbly drawn as always. How I wish I had your imagination!

Now there’s a thought, great drawing Lewis

Wow, such imagination and talent! This is marvellous, made me smile and think. My imagination went ‘walkabout’ many moons ago!!

Thanks again to all those who have commented. I wasn't too sure about this one because I didn't get the Mona Lisa's face too well...she has a much plumper face than I've given her.

I like your work very much, some of your works remind me of the late Patrick woodruff a outstanding artist in the 80s.....

...Picasso had painted the model for the Mona Lisa? Would it be so famous? An impossible idea, of course, but that's the beauty of 'what ifs'. Apologies to Da Vinci and Picasso...I'm an admirer of both. Done in my 'blue' a3 sketchbook, with a dark indigo Polychromos coloured pencil. I didn't get the Mona Lisa right, but it's close enough.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
