snails for lunch

Good clean pen lines Lew. As for the escargot- yikes!! 🤣

I’m always in awe of how you get the expressions just right Lew. I think the snails I tried many years ago were that size too - still shudder at the memory.

Love the snooty waiter. Excellent.

😉👍

So clever both artistically and the concept

I can see that the pen is working fine Lew, excellent humour to boot!

Those expressions are superb

Well Lew you certainly have taken to the new pen , excellent drawing and once again great humour.

Just what is needed to brighten up a Saturday.

Great results with your new pen Lewis. The waiter’s expression is priceless.

Excellent drawing Lewis. The pen sounds really good.

Those faces say it all Lewis. That pen sounds interesting.

Lovely work Lewis, enjoy your new pen.

Brightened up my morning Lewis. This is so good. Love the details you put in- snail in her cleavage and on his nose. The expressions are priceless.

Thanks for your comments. Always appreciated.

Had a really good laugh at this one, Lewis! Do keep them coming!!

Excellent characters 😄

Obviously works for you Lewis, great result.

Made me laugh (having eaten escargot in France).

I love the waiter’s droopy tits! But he could do with a few thrushes to curb those rampant snails! Brilliant!

Brilliant humour and illustration. I watched someone eating them whilst on holiday - the repetitive chewing and several attempts at swallowing showed he didn’t enjoy them, ( but said he did! ). Your new pen is working very well Lewis.

Great drawing, Lewis but I think I'll pass on that restaurant!

That’s spooky, I posted a sketch earlier done with an Ackerman….glad you like it as well Lewis. This is a great example and so funny especially that wayward snail in the ladies bosom.

Super drawing. Really made me smile after a rubbish week

Trying out a new pen. Ackerman pump pen...it's like a dip-pen without the 'dip'. It takes waterproof ink (any ink it claims). It'll take getting used to...I found myself attempting to dip the pen into an ink pot that wasn't there...absolutely no need, the pen just kept going.
